The individual grades per student are communicated to the MER Consortium Secretariat and recorded in the UPV/EHU academic management system. At the same time, an MER Consortium Joint Transcript will be produced and signed by the JPB Chair and submitted to the involved partner universities for their records.

A Mark Converter Tool (based on an agreed harmonised grading system) is used to translate partner university grades into a joint MER Consortium grade scale.

Overall performance of students will be evaluated during the JPB meeting at the end of each academic year. The final marks for the whole programme are approved and integrated in the definitive individual MER Consortium Joint Transcript that will be produced by the MER Consortium Secretariat, signed by the JPB Chair, submitted to the involved partner universities for their records and delivered to the student.

NOTE: The marks in the Joint Transcript are formally ratified by the MER Consortium  Joint Programme Board but the official transcripts will be only those issued by the Partner Universities and minor adjustments might eventually occur.
