Financial responsibility of students on the programme

Prior to participating in the Programme, students should have adequate funds to cover:

  • study at each of the Parties including relevant financial documents required for visa purposes;
  • tuition, academic and other fees payable in respect of participation in the Programme and membership of a Party;
  • medical/health insurance (check insurance coverage provided by the MER Consortium);
  • travel to and from the student’s home country to the other Parties as required by the Programme;
  • personal and living expenses, including accommodation and food; and
  • any other debts incurred by the student or his or her dependants for the duration of his or her study abroad.

The MER Consortium JPB strongly recommends you to consider the expected costs of the programme (PDF) in a realistic way before you decide to enroll. The MER Consortium cannot assume any responsibility if a student must leave the MER+ EMJMD programme before its conclusion due to economical reasons.
