NOTES:
- If more than one candidate has applied for the same Proposal the UAB (UPV/EHU) will take a decision on overlaps after hearing all parts and looking at their CV and academic coherence with MER modules.
- It is suggested that Supervisors from MER Consortium can supervise a maximum of two MSc Thesis at the same time or three if there are two supervisors.
- If more than two of three proposals from each supervisor are selected for the students the supervisor should withdraw one or more in order to achieve the optimum specified in the previous note.
Master Thesis Project outside MER consortium
MER students can carry out the research for their MSc Thesis in a third institution, both in Europe and overseas.

| Send a Summary & Title of the proposal to UPV/EHU UAB with the name of the possible supervisor & institution | UPV/EHU UAB sends the information to MER Consortium JPB for approval | ||
| After approval by MER COnsortium JPB the student has to send the MoU duly stamped and signed by the Supervisor | MER Consortium Coordinator signs and stamps the MoU on behalf of the MER Consortium JPB and sends a copy to the student & supervisor | ||
